Chew Valley Beer Festival 2020 - CANCELED - provisional 2021 dates 15th & 16th October 2021
Due to the growing concerns about Covid -19 it is with great disappointment that we have taken the decision to cancel this year's event. We are disheartened at having to take this decision but we simply cannot find a way forward with the uncertainty around lockdown easing and what we would or would not be allowed to put on.
We hope you understand that these issues are out of our control – unlike the great music we had planned, super beers and ciders, wonderful food from Ubley School PTA and the increasingly popular gin bar! Believe us – we will miss the event as much as all our guests!
For those who have purchased tickets in advance we will process a full Paypal refund as soon as possible.
CVBF will be back bigger than ever in 2021. We will be advising those dates in due course.
We look forward to welcoming all next year and appreciate your understanding.
Sponsoring the Chew Valley Beer Festival
Since the very first festival, we have been fortunate to have received excellent support from a wide range of local and national businesses. We are truely grateful to them, without whom the festival wouldn’t be able to make the contribution to the village hall that it currently does.
The Chew Valley Beer Festival was conceived to help with fund raising to help cover the annual and maintenance costs of Ubley Village hall. The generous sponsorship that the beer festival has received since its formation in 2004 has ensured that the festival has been a resounding success on many levels and is a significant factor to ensure that the festival achieves its aim of making a large donation to the Ubley Parish Hall charity each year.
If you would like to consider sponsoring the beer festival in 2019 please contact a member of the festival committee or email.
