Planning your visit:

Ubley is a relatively remote village with poor transport connections, but below are some options to help you plan your travel.

Find Us:

The Chew Valley Beer Festival takes place in Ubley Parish Hall, which can be found on the A368, between Bath and Weston Super Mare and approximately 12 miles south of Bristol.

Ubley Parish Hall, The Street, Ubley, Somerset

Set your Sat Nav to BS40 6PH

Bus:

There is a very limited bus service which we honestly don’t have much experience of using, and it is most suited to access the lunchtime Saturday session. Details of the local 672 can be found here.

Another option is to get the Bristol Airport Bus from Temple Meads or Weston Super Mare, and taxi the last leg to Ubley (see below)

Taxi:

There are a couple fo local taxi firms which may be able to help:

Chew Cars – 07831 858765

Paul Bearman – 07789 510390

To and from the airport Arrow Cars can be booked to deliver to Ubley – 01275 475 000

Car:

Please arrange your dedicated driver, we do not condone drink driving. The hall does have parking on site for cars on a first come, first served basis. A disability parking space is available at the hall entrance.

From Bath, follow the A4 then A39 before picking up the A368. After passing through Compton Martin village turn right after Ubley Motor Services and follow the road down the hill and past the church and school until you reach the Hall on your right hand side.

From Weston, follow the A371 to Banwell and then follow the A368. Take the first left (unsigned) about a mile after leaving Blagdon village and follow the lane into Ubley. The hall is on the left hand side after the sharp right hand bend.
